I visited Nostos for lunch and really enjoyed the food. The calamari was well done with a good portion, and the beef wrap was tasty. The fries were generous and felt homemade, which I loved. The decor wasn’t my favorite (still had Christmas decorations), but the Greek music added a nice touch. Overall, great food and a solid lunch spot.

Came here to celebrate Valentine's Day with my wife. We were looking for a place that served Mediterranean Octopus like we had when we were in Spain and this restaurant had it. Parking is at a minimum and must pay parking on the street. We were quickly seated as we had a reservation (recommended) as this place was busy, but in a good way. There were mainly couples (who were on dates) and older couples who were married seated tonight. We started with Fried Zucchini, pita bread, and olives to start. The zucchini was thinly sliced and lightly battered and fried; perfect with the Tzatziki sauce. The pita and olives were fresh. My wife ordered a side Greek salad that was so fresh it slapped you in the face; superb. We both had the grilled octopus for the main dinner. Three tentacles each, with capers, a jalapeno pepper, and a light vinegar sauce. Soft to cut, but not so much as melt in mouth like in Spain. We also ordered French fries to accompany the octopus which was a good addition. Service was prompt and genuine. We were so full, we had no space for dessert . The food here is amazing! The only downfall is that the restaurant was super loud and it was hard to hear my wife's conversation as it was so loud. Overall, a must place to try if you like Greek food in Kitsalano.

We ordered the share platter and it was a good amount of food for the table. I would have preferred more rice and sides instead of so many fries, but it did keep us nibbling the whole time. The patio is great for the summer and has a nice relaxed vibe. They also had Greek beer, which was fun to try since I had never had it before. Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal in Kits.
